Story summary
Set in the present day, among the shores and outer islands of Boston Harbor; Waveland Requiem follows four childhood friends, (now in their late 30s) who gather to support one of their number, for the scattering of his spouse's remains.
Time, distance, and circumstances have changed and strained their once close relationships; and when unexplained isolation strikes the solemn gathering, decades of stress and misgiving, stretch life long bonds to breaking.

Bio
William "BT" Hathaway grew up in a world of church music and funeral directing. He received a degree in music from Samford University, Birmingham, AL in the 1980s, then returned to the family funeral business where he has worked for the past 30 years.
BT, as he is know by many, has enjoyed a number of creative, design and technical pursuits through out his life. He is a published author of essays and poetry. He holds patents in ceramic-based identity systems. He is an accomplished photographer, and came to screen writing as an offshoot of multi-camera streaming work he has done.
He currently resides in Fairhaven, MA.
